xStocks Competition: Buy and Hold xStocks for a Share of 50,000 USDC

Buy and hold xStocks through Solflare to climb the leaderboard. The top 100 wallets share a 50,000 USDC prize pool over five weeks.

The xStocks competition is a 5-week leaderboard competition running inside Solflare from Monday 14 September to Friday 16 October. Buy xStocks through Solflare, keep them, and climb a public ranking. The top 100 wallets share a 50,000 USDC prize pool.

Available on mobile, web, and extension.

How the competition works

The xStocks competition rewards buying and holding xStocks through Solflare. Your score is based on the value of your position over time, so both how much you buy and how long you hold it count. There’s no reward for trading volume or churn, and no luck involved.

The competition runs for five weeks, from NYSE open on Monday 14 September to NYSE close on Friday 16 October. Everyone starts from zero on joining, and only xStocks purchased through Solflare after you join count toward your score. Prior holdings and purchases made outside Solflare don’t count, and buying elsewhere doesn’t help your score either.

Ranking

Your rank is based on a projected score: a live estimate of where you would finish if you kept your current xStocks position until the end of the competition. Your score updates continuously in the background, but the public leaderboard refreshes once an hour, so give it a little time to catch up after you buy.

Your score reflects the current value of what you hold, tracked over time:

  • Buying earlier gives your position more time to accumulate score
  • Holding longer counts more than a late purchase of the same size
  • Price movement affects your score too, since it tracks the value of your holdings, so price changes move your score up or down

Selling your xStocks or moving them off Solflare entirely lowers your score. However, moving them into supported DeFi protocols such as Jupiter Lend, Kamino, Meteora, Raydium, Orca, or Piggybank does not. Those positions still count.

The public leaderboard shows the top 100 ranks. If you’re outside the top 100, you can still check your own current rank and score in the app.

Eligibility

Stock up is available to Solflare users everywhere except the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Nigeria, and sanctioned jurisdictions.

A serious breach of the competition terms, or a clear attempt to exploit the scoring mechanic, can result in a wallet being removed from the leaderboard.

xStocks are tokenised securities issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited under a Base Prospectus approved by the FMA Liechtenstein (approval is not an endorsement). They are not the underlying shares, give no voting or dividend rights, are highly speculative, and you may lose all the capital you invest. Available for purchase only in eligible jurisdictions (not in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Nigeria or sanctioned jurisdictions, among others). FAQs

Who can join?

You can join with any Solflare wallet if you are in an eligible region. The competition is not available in some countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Nigeria, or in sanctioned jurisdictions.

Is there a minimum to enter?

There is no entry fee or set minimum position. You are ranked once eligible xStocks bought through Solflare after joining give you a score above zero. Very small purchases, particularly those worth less than $1, may not register in your score.

Can I join after the competition starts?

Yes. You can join at any time before it ends. The earlier you buy, the longer your xStocks count toward your score. If you join later, you may need to buy more to catch up.

Which xStocks count?

All company and ETF assets shown in the xStocks section of Market are eligible. Eligible assets also show a competition label when you open them.

Can I compete with more than one wallet?

Each wallet joins and competes separately. Using multiple wallets to occupy more than one rewarded rank may lead to disqualification.

Do the xStocks I already hold count?

No. Your score starts at zero when you join. Only eligible xStocks bought through Solflare after joining count.

How is my score calculated?

Your score is shown in points. 1 point = $1 of eligible xStocks held for the full campaign, so it reflects both the value of your counted xStocks and how long you hold them. Buying earlier gives your xStocks more time to count toward your final score.

What doesn't count toward my score?

  • xStocks held before joining
  • Purchases made outside Solflare
  • xStocks transferred into your wallet
  • Assets outside the eligible xStocks list
  • xStocks moved anywhere other than supported DeFi protocols

Which DeFi protocols are supported?

Jupiter Lend, Kamino, Meteora, Raydium, Orca, and Piggybank. xStocks deposited into these protocols remain counted. Moving them anywhere else lowers your counted amount, and transferring them back does not restore it.

What happens if I sell?

Selling or moving xStocks out lowers the counted amount for that asset. A later purchase only counts if it is made through Solflare and starts counting from the time of that purchase.

My score dropped and I didn't sell. Why?

Your projected score moves with xStocks prices. It can also drop if counted xStocks leave your wallet for anything other than supported DeFi.

What does the number next to my rank mean?

It’s your score in points: your projected final score if you keep your current counted xStocks until the end at current prices. 1 point = $1 of eligible xStocks held for the full campaign. It is not the total amount you have bought.

Why hasn't my rank changed?

The leaderboard refreshes hourly. Recent purchases and balance changes appear after the next refresh.

Why am I not ranked?

You need to join and buy eligible xStocks through Solflare before you can be ranked. The leaderboard updates hourly, so a recent purchase may not appear until the next refresh. Very small purchases may not register in your score.

Two wallets have the same score. Who ranks higher?

The wallet with the higher total value of eligible xStocks at the end ranks higher. This includes holdings in the wallet and supported DeFi, regardless of where they were acquired.

How is the reward pool split?

The top 100 wallets split 50,000 USDC. First place receives 10,000 USDC, while ranks 51 to 100 receive 100 USDC each. The full breakdown is on the competition page.

Is my reward amount fixed?

Each rank has a fixed USDC reward shown in the reward table. Your reward is based on your final confirmed rank.

When are results final?

Results are reviewed after the competition ends. This usually takes a few days and will not exceed two weeks. Rankings remain provisional until the review is complete.

How do I get paid?

Once results are final, winners claim their USDC in Solflare using the wallet that earned the reward.

What if I don't claim in time?

If the claim period ends before you claim, we’ll send the reward directly to your winning wallet.

Can I be disqualified?

Yes. You may be disqualified for abusing the competition, breaking the competition terms, or violating applicable law. If disqualified, you lose your reward and may be excluded from future competitions.

Who runs this competition?

Solflare runs the competition, including scoring, reviewing results, and distributing rewards.

Do I owe tax on a reward?

That depends on where you live. You are responsible for any taxes and costs related to your reward. Solflare does not provide tax advice.

Is this investment advice?

No. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell an asset. xStocks can lose value and carry risks from both the underlying stock and the tokenized asset.

Can the competition change?

Yes. Solflare may modify, suspend, or end the competition to correct scoring errors, address abuse, or comply with applicable law.
