At this year’s Breakpoint in Abu Dhabi, Solflare is proud to present Community Spotlights, an award show that honors the people, projects, and moments that made Solana what it is today.
On Day 3 of Breakpoint (December 13), we’ll take the stage in Abu Dhabi for 90 minutes of recognition, comedy, and celebration. It’s not your typical ceremony. It’s closer to a fast-paced live stream crossed with a comedy show — a reflection of everything that makes Solana’s culture so unique.
Where Solana Celebrates Itself
Every year, at Breakpoint, the Solana ecosystem comes together — founders, developers, creators, and community members all gathering to share progress, inspiration, and the next big thing.
Now, for the fifth edition, we are bringing that story to center stage. Solflare is proud to present Community Spotlights, a 90-minute ceremony dedicated to the builders, creators, and dreamers who make Solana what it is.
It’s part award show, part community roast, part celebration of everything that defines Solana’s culture: speed, creativity, and a little bit of chaos. A community-powered highlight reel of the year: where the memes matter, the code speaks for itself, and the fastest builders get their moment to shine.

Spotlights brings together the best of Solana’s builders and creators across two main categories: The Builder Awards and The Community + Culture Awards.
From groundbreaking DeFi apps to the most meme-worthy moments on Crypto Twitter, it’s a snapshot of the ecosystem’s heartbeat in 2025. We celebrate both the serious innovation and the not-so-serious energy that keeps Solana unique.
Think “OPOS Award” and “Most Degen Moment” sharing the same stage. Because on Solana, they both matter.
How It Works
Community Spotlights unfolds in four stages:
- Nominations (Nov 10–20)
Community members and judges nominate their favorite people and projects at solana.com/breakpoint/awards.
Want to boost your picks? Share them on X with #CommunitySpotlights. - Shortlisting (Nov 21–22)
A small committee reviews all nominations and selects the finalists — the builders and creators who defined the year. - Voting (Nov 22–Dec 10)
Public voting opens to everyone. Both judges and community members can participate, with filters to keep it fair and spam-free. - Winners Announced (Dec 13, Abu Dhabi)
It all culminates live on stage at Breakpoint, where Solana’s brightest moments take the spotlight.
Everyone in the ecosystem has a say.
Nominations are open to all, shortlists are curated by the OG community members, and final votes come straight from the people who live and breathe Solana every day.

- OPOS Award — For the project or person who most embodied “Only Possible on Solana.” in 2025, showcasing something uniquely enabled by Solana’s tech or culture
- Rising Star – DeFi — For the breakout DeFi project of 2025 that defined Solana’s next wave of innovation
- Rising Star – Consumer App — For the app that captured attention and users alike.
- Rising Star – Trading — For the fastest and furthest-rising trading or infrastructure project.
- Rising Star – Gaming — For the game that leveled up Solana’s on-chain entertainment in 2025.
- Bridge Builder Award — For the project or individual who did the most to onboard Web2 users into Solana in 2025.
- Most Viral X Campaign — For the most viral or beloved campaign on X (Twitter) from a Solana project or creator in 2025.
- Collaboration of the Year — For the partnership or collab that made the biggest impact in 2025.

Celebrating the creators, artists, and personalities who gave Solana its voice and spirit.
- Solana Ambassador Award — For the individual who best represented and amplified the Solana ecosystem in 2025.
- Best Content Creator — For the creator whose content most informed, inspired, or entertained the Solana community in 2025.
- Best Artist 2025 — For the artist whose creative work left the strongest mark on Solana’s culture in 2025.
- Most Degen Moment — For the wildest, funniest, or most unforgettable degen moment on Solana in 2025.
- The People’s Award — The community’s open-choice honor — recognizing any person or project the Solana ecosystem wants to celebrate
- Memelord of the Year — For the individual or project behind the most iconic, hilarious, and viral Solana memes of 2025.
