Breakpoint has always been more than a conference. It’s where the Solana ecosystem comes together to take stock of how far it’s come — and where it’s headed next.
This year in Abu Dhabi, Breakpoint 2025 brought together 6,000+ builders, creators, founders, and community members from across the world. For Solflare, it wasn’t just another event on the calendar.
Showing up
At Breakpoint 2025, we took on the role of an anchor sponsor and showed up in every sense of the word. From the moment attendees walked in, Solflare was part of the experience.
Our presence stretched across the venue – from the public entrance to the main stage, seating areas, and even the powerbank stations that kept thousands of devices alive throughout long days of talks and networking.
Wherever people gathered, charged their phones, or paused between sessions, Solflare was there. Not as noise but as presence.
A booth that became a hub
What started as a booth quickly became something more.
Users met the team behind Solana’s most powerful wallet. Builders stopped by to talk product. Conversations drifted from wallet security to DeFi strategies, from UX pain points to what people actually want from self-custody tools and Solana itself. Some stayed for minutes. Others came back again to continue the conversation.
Our booth evolved into a networking hub where people expressed their curiosity and excitement.
It was exactly the kind of energy we hoped for: organic, open, and community-driven.
On the main stage
Solflare took the main stage twice.
Our founders, Filip and Vidor, presented two of our most ground-breaking reveals to date: Solflare Shield and Magic.
Introducing Solflare Shield
One of the most tangible moments of the week was the debut of Solflare Shield.
Not just as a presentation but as something people could actually take home.
Every Breakpoint attendee received a Solflare Shield hardware wallet, putting cold-storage security directly into thousands of hands. It was our way of making self-custody more accessible, more practical, and easier to adopt.
Unveiling Magic
Breakpoint was also the stage for another important milestone: the unveiling of “Magic” AI (alpha).
Magic marks a new chapter for Solflare, bringing market insights, automation, and natural-language interaction directly into the wallet. Announcing it at Breakpoint felt amazing: surrounded by the builders and community members who continuously push the ecosystem forward.
This is just the beginning for Magic, but sharing it in person made the moment tangible.
Both of these were much more than just announcements. They were reflections on how user needs have evolved, and how Solflare continues to adapt alongside the Solana ecosystem.
Community Spotlights: Celebrating the people behind Solana
Breakpoint 2025 also marked the debut of something entirely new.
Solflare hosted the first-ever Community Spotlights ceremony – a dedicated moment to recognize the builders, creators, artists, and personalities who make the Solana ecosystem what it is.
It was fast, fun, and all about the community. A celebration of shipping, creativity, culture, and the moments that defined the year.
For us, it captured something essential: Solana isn’t just technology – it’s people.
One team, together
Breakpoint 2025 was also special for us internally.
A group of 50 Solflare team members traveled together to Abu Dhabi, representing product, engineering, design, support, and growth – all showing up as one team. For some, it was even the first time meeting this many team members in person.
Seeing that many Solflare shirts in one place was a powerful reminder of what we’ve built together: not just a product, but a group of people deeply invested in supporting each other and our mission of bringing self-custody to every person on the planet.
A celebration to close it all out
The closing party brought everything together.
Not to brag, but we feel like our drone show lit up the sky and made everything stand still for a minute – and it looked and felt spectacular. Not just as a visual highlight, but as a genuine celebration of how far the Solana ecosystem has come, and what’s still ahead.
It felt less like an ending, and more like a shared pause before the next chapter.
